Heard LFC are going to offer a 5 year contract to Klopp which is awesome news.

If Klopp were to leave (Hopefully he wouldn't) who would be a good replacement?

I like the sound Marco Bielsa.

Cannot even bear to think about losing Klopp any time soon. The day he goes, I hope he goes out with a bunch of shiny trophies to LFC's name.

===========================

Someone is lying to you . not true and won't be even considered until 2nd June .
There is a difference between what some fans consider success and how the owners see us successful ; and I don't mean the opposite either they are n't unhappy with him, all parties are happy with Klopp current contract which still have 3 years
Ed002? have you heard anything about this.

{Ed002's Note - I have no interest in contracts. Sorry.}

I hope we replace him with Rhian Brewsters grandson.

I don't think Biesla would be a good fit in this time, we currently have stability and a long term plan, he doesn't tend to stick around.

Klopp leaving will affect me more than any player will, just can’t bare to think about it.

Don't see klopp leaving anytime soon, but have been massively impressed by Erik ten Hag. Can see him very soon managing a top European club.

Their is only one replacement for klopp and its ED002.

Haha, oh behave you lot.
And you should know Ed002 wouldn't be a match for Klopp

I can’t remember his name but the Ajax manager has done wonders there hasn’t he, seems like someone our owners would like.
Saying that I think Klopp likes it here and I can see him staying a while.

Think some people took this personally, was just saying one day he will leave, he won't be here forever, just wanted to here opinions on what other managers would people like to see at the club if he were to leave.

I like Erik ten hag as suggested by Kopitef.

The Bielsa superstatus thing is such a myth to me. It’s like wanting Karl Benz (or possibly his wife) to build you a modern car. Bielsa may be the inspiration for so many managers and coaches, but that doesn’t mean he has evolved enough in his methods or ideologies for the modern game at the top level. That and his control freak streak.

I don’t even want to think about the next manager. Based on how far we’ve come, it’ll be a dark day when Klopp goes.

Probably better to talk characteristics than names:
1) someone who gets the club and it’s history
2) someone who connects easily with the fans
3) someone who is tactically astute
4) someone capable of motivating the players.

Difficult to name any obvious candidates.

Ron Keague your criteria is spot on, sure you’re not on the board? I can’t think of any but someone like Ed2 or Ed1 could probably list a few up coming managers. I would love Alonso to be ready in 14 years, guy ticks the first two criteria’s, loves the club, class personified just hope he goes onto be a great manager to boot.

I’d take Pochettino in a decade.

Didn’t Ed01 mention Nagelsman the Hoffenheim coach as someone he would like? Although iv not seen them play since the CL qualifier last year.

{Ed001's Note - he will be managing RB Leipzig from next season. And I said I like him, not that I would like him. Klopp is the one I want in charge of us.}
