Hindsight is 20/ 20. Considering the final score its easy to forget how even a game it was. Ultimately they took their chances and we didn't. I see a lot of people criticising Klopp's tactics but if Firmino wasn't fit for the full 90, he wasn't fit. Klopp Adapted and it seemed to be working for large parts of the game. The only mistakes I personally think he made was putting Gomez in at right back and making his substitution's too late. Going for a better defensive option at the Camp Nou isn't a bad idea, but with Gomez coming off an injury and mostly playing centreback this season, I'm not sure he was that. Frustrating game in what could be a frustrating season. Ultimately we need a trophy, but the team has clearly made significant process and that matters. I didn't think we'd be this good last season.

Going to try and enjoy the rest of the season. An Anfield miracle might happen and Manchester City might blink first (Rodgers to win it for liverpool? ) . I'm doubtful but very optimistic for next season. Keita has room to improve and the Ox will be back. Would love to see Brewster and Wilson play a part. Heads up lads. YNWA. He is aerobically fit for 90 minutes, so you’re injured or you’re not. I don’t get the ‘not fit for 90 thing’. If it’s muscular 30 minutes or 90, a tare is a tare. He should have started if the injury healed. He is too important.
