It's been that long I've actually forgotten what the ox was like! What did you think of the start to his liverpool career ed 001?

{Ed001's Note - he took a while to get going but he was just established as a first choice midfielder when he got injured. He was really playing some lovely stuff and looking a bargain signing. Gutted that he got injured and just hope he can get back to the same level.}

Me too Ed001, we have really missed him at times this season. No doubt he also seems a lovely guy and is clearly a big character in the dressing room. While City have had to suffer most of this season without De Bruyne, people forget we have had to go the entire season without the Ox!

{Ed001's Note - very true.}

I think he had a big part in salah's amazing season. They both have serious pace and shots. They both scare defences and Aoc can pick out a pass. I bet salah scores more next season if the ox gets back to form. Salah has been better since hendo has started playing that role.

I have always said that it was Ox that we needed the most this season more than Fekir. Ox was a nightmare for City last season and even they know it. His ability to break the opposition lines with pace and power was a joy to watch and many teams could not cope with him. I remember Fernandinho gasping for breathe while eating Ox's dust in last season's CL battles and had we had him in the final vs RM, we would have been able to deal with Salah's injury better.

I just hope that he can regain his full fitness and confidence and get back to the level he was at cos IMO, he was frightening when he was in top form.
