Quality that Ed, its pretty clear you spend quite some time and effort doing these so a massive thank you because they're spot on.

I really enjoyed the game against them, it reminded me of Liverpool's full strength last season, it s clearly still there. If we play like that our remaining games, nobody will touch us. I too, was very surprised at Lallana starting the game, I was a bit gutted tbh but it proved to be a great choice. Fantastic result, fantastic performance, bring on Fulham.

{Ed001's Note - I did worry when I saw he was starting but he was ideal in that game.}

Thanks Ed. What do you mean by aside from starting Lallana, Klopp’s choice of subs was unexpected?

{Ed001's Note - Sturridge to replace Trent and Henderson to replace Gini were not what I expected.}

Thank you Ed. Great point about pressure and fatigue. The past couple of years there was a sense of the team losing a little at the end of the season. I don't see that as much so far.

{Ed001's Note - nor me mate, I don't see any signs of tiredness or cracks under pressure.}

Cheers Ed001, made for a good read. Who would you start Wednesday?

{Ed001's Note - I would bring in Keita for Lallana, purely because he is coming back from injury and he needs to be eased back and Keita knows Bayern. Other than that it would be just putting Lovren in if he is fit to start as Matip can't handle good sides. He goes to pieces against movement and also gets baited into charging forward with the ball too much.}

Good read that, Ed001. Thank you for taking the time to pull it all together.

What are your thoughts on Allison so far this season? Obviously he has been a massive improvement on Migs but do you think he has had enough of an impact on our games to be considered up there with the best in the world?

I saw a fact the other day that surprised me a little - that four of our goals this season have directly come from a mistake of his. Now obviously this doesn't paint the full picture as he has pulled off some saves that he had no right to (vs Utd - Lingard and countless others) but still does maybe show that he has room for improvement if he cuts out some of his silly mistakes.

Red Sandman.

{Ed001's Note - everyone makes errors, DDG has made a number of them this season. You can't expect perfection. I think he has made a huge difference, the biggest problem I see is that he is so good with his feet the defenders keep taking the easy way out and giving it to him when they shouldn't.

However he has made the defence so much more confident and composed by his sheer presences. He radiates confidence and it has helped everyone.}

Credit where credit is due ed, Matip helped keep a clean sheet against Bayern.

{Ed001's Note - they didn't exactly go all in to try and score though.}

This mite sound strange but even though matip has kept a few clean sheets Against Man U and Everton. I still want him replaced I just don’t think he’s good enough for Liverpool even as a back up. He just looks like a mistake waiting to happen.

Fare point on Allison, some times others do tend to look to him as an option and at times the ball to him is not exactly up to scratch. But the diffrence he has made not only in the team but to an extent the league is 2nd to none.

Great read Ed, cheers

Agree completely with your ratings esp the front 3 and Lallana. Front 3 were all sheer class but got to say my heart sank when I saw Lallana on the team sheet, but that role suits him and he was excellent, my motd.

{Ed001's Note - cheers IB.}

I heard the commentator say once, ‘outmuscled by matip’ and had to check if a ball boy had wondered on or something!

Do remember Matip did for some reason boot the ball towards our net against Bayern and got lucky that it hit Alisson.

Ed, now that Keita didn't travel with the squad. Would you prefer Lallana to keep his place? Im not sure about that, as he is coming back from injury. I would play Gini Fab and Hendo, as we will need discipline and players who keep the tempo.

{Ed001's Note - I would defo not want to risk Lallana, unless the sports scientists say he is safe to play.}
