Morning eds1
Can you see Chelsea finding a way out of this ban.
Am amazed that the FA are getting find aswell I’ve never heard of this before.
Also what could happen to Man City over this payment?

{Ed001's Note - they will get some way out of it and have it reduced no doubt, though it does seem to be pretty cut and dried.

As for City, I have no idea what will happen but they have not once denied guilt in any of the revelations, just claimed it was an attempt to besmirch their good name by revealing their cheating. So they should have the book thrown at them, but they probably won't.}

So what about Pulisic?
I heard that they have mutual agreement to sign him next summer.
Are they going to be allowed to sign him or not?

{Ed001's Note - no they haven't. They already signed him. He is on loan.}

Ok Ed, hypothetically at least then, if Chelsea brought players and their families into the UK by flouting the football regulations, could they also be in breach of immigration rules and run into further trouble with the British Government authorities?

{Ed002's Note - That is not the case and there is no suggestion it is.}

Cheers Ed, have a good day mate!

{Ed001's Note - you too mate.}

Thank you Ed.

I remember Paul Anderson very well. I believe he was MOM in the FA Youth cup final in 2006 first leg at Anfield against Man City? Him and Adam Hamill were fantatsic on the wings. This was before a certain Mr Sturridge scored twice in the second leg.

Still won 3-2, Paul Andreson was a big part of that. Glad to see he is still (just about! ) going.

{Ed001's Note - I was surprised he was only 30. I know he spent some time at Forest but lost track of him after that.}

Same here Ed001. Had no idea he was still playing, thought he would have retired.

Real shame that none of that team made it. Darby, Hobbs, Spearing, Flynn and the 2 mentioned above looked the business for a time.

Ironic that the only one who made it for us played for the other team!

{Ed001's Note - the academy was in a period of turmoil when they were coming through sadly. They never had the best chance.}

Ed001 intresting you say that.

May be impossible to say, but do you think any of that team, with the correct training/ setup/ man management etc, could have made it to the big time at a consistent level?

Been talked about recently, I know. Just particularly intrested in this team considering they had some success. Paul Anderson was a always a big hope for me.

{Ed001's Note - possibly because a lot of the problems were lifestyle based. They were not professional enough and that could have been taught to them.}

Thanks Ed.

I find that so infuriating looking from the outside in. Young players throwing it all away due to choice of lifestyle. I understand that enough support from the club would have helped their decisions but I would like to think that in their position I would be fully focused and 100% professional depsite this. All hypothetical of course but I wouldn't ever want to hinder that kind of oppourtunity.

{Ed001's Note - easy to say that, but these are young kids who have had it all thrown at them and it goes to their heads. How do you keep your head on the ground when you are told from an early age you are great?}

I understand Ed. The correct guidance is essential as you say.

I'd like to think my family and friends would keep my feet grounded, but easier said then done when it comes to playing in front of thousands against the very best.

Cheers mate!

{Ed001's Note - unfortunately most people find their family and friends do quite the opposite. Usually you find a large number of hangers on just using these kids for their money.}

Thats disgusting Ed. Not Family and Friends in my eyes then.

Cheers mate.

{Ed001's Note - sadly it is the way of the world.}
