This dip was always going to arrive but I don't see how leading by 4pts with 15 games to go had fans super confident but leading by 3pts with 13 to go has them in a panic.

Because of the opportunity cost of dropping 4 points against two mid-table teams, that’s why. Factor in the drab performances in both of the aforementioned games, as well as the fact we didn’t take advantage of a slip from our main title rivals, and you should be able to see why this feels different than before to many fans.

City had a legit dip and lost two on the bounce. We are having ours and managed to come away with 2 vital points. I will take that any day in the hope that we get back to winning ways against Bournemouth. O City are not guaranteed wins till May and would still likely drop points but most importantly, we need to start winning then their efforts will be futile. For those going for the Bournemouth game, help the lads relax by singing louder sending chills down the opposition spine. They need us now and not the slaging claims of bottling or being uninterested. One loss in the Prem after how many games should help us believe in their genuine efforts to win and I'm sure none of them is happy that things are this way. I still believe we have all the cards though and will do it this time. After all, it can't be Liverpool if it's easy. Lol.

It's a healthy position that we are in, no doubt. It's the form which is worrying people. Palace, Leicester and West Ham have all been very average performances where we could easily have lost. Luckily City dropped points to Newcastle so we are still ahead of them but their superior goal difference will give them confidence. Klopp needs to get the lads refocused ASAP because they've capitulated under the pressure. City did in December though (and they actually lost to Palace and Leicester) so there is proof you can recover from a wobble if you don't let it last too long. It was always going to be tight like this. You don't stride away from this City team. They're too good to just go away.

Big win needed against Bournemouth now. Keep the pressure on City going into the Chelsea game!
