Something I have noticed is that this is Klopp's 3rd European seaosn with us and we haven't been 'knocked out ' under him.

Reached the final in both of his previous European seasons and still in this one.

Losing in the final is still being knocked out but yeah we have performed very well under him in Europe. But Bayern are going to be our toughest test in terms of European competition other than Madrid.

KMan I’d say City last season was our toughest test they were arguably the best team in Europe at the time.
Bayern are nowhere near that. One thing they do have is experience so we have to be very wary of them but there are tougher tests to come if we get through.

Being in the final is NOT being knocked out. That is patently false. It's like saying Croatia got "knocked out" at the last WC by France in the final. You get knocked out during the knock out stages and NOT before nor after. Why? The final marks the end of the knockout stage of any European or int'l competition so you CANNOT get knocked out if you made the final.

That said, Klopp has done wonders with us in Europe. Two European finals of both European competitions is NOTHING to sneeze at. There are clubs and managers and players who would kill for the chance to just make a semi final. Even City with all their money, can't boast of that. Just speaking facts, my friends.

So you don't get knocked out in the quarter or semi finals either then redwolf🤔.

P1, yes you do. The quarters and semis are the knock out stages. Once you get past those and into the final then you can't be knocked out cos you already went thru that stage. There is a reason you never hear that "a team got knocked out in the final". Many thanks for making my point.
