Harry Wilson again. I think this lad has the talent to go far, he definitely has end product. Hope he gets a chance next season as he’s definitely taken his chance on loan.

I'd love too see it as well mate, I think he would really have to step up to another level though, he has a gift of a left foot, premier league title contenders is a different ball game though.

Some doubt his all-round game, or whether he is ready to step up from the championship, but in my opinion you never know what will happen until you give them a chance. Ibe seemed destined for stardom and then fell way short. Contrastingly, someone like Kane was destined for a life in the lower divisions, was given a chance, and then worked his socks off to make the most of it. Until you put youngsters at the forefront, with all the pressure, responsibility and control over their own destiny, you never know how they are going to do.

I read a post the other day from a guy with mates who regularly attend Derby games who says his all round game needs work and that he's a bit lazy tracking back.
Do you think free kick highlights mask his shortcomings? Maybe Carragold has a view too?

Not sure if people watch 90 minutes of Derby or Wales on a regular basis. I try watching Wilson off the ball, build up play, how he comfortable he is in possession. Defensive positions he takes up etc. I have to say he does not have to much involvement in most of games I've seen him in; he goes missing for large parts of every game. Which is understandable for his age; he is fantastic on a dead ball and can hit a shot. Right now he is not strong enough, doesn't have amazing skill to make up for the lack of physicality or speed. I've seen this when Derby are the stronger of the two team or the weaker team, I've seen him surrounded by a "decent" welsh team. Personally I'd love to see him get a chance at Liverpool but my gut tells me he is not ready for the Prem.

He can be taught to track back and its just how well he will respond to that.

I agree that you do not know untill you give him a chance. Surely he would be in the squad and get games in 2019/ 20 season. No pressure and then take it from there.

Speaking of talent. Not long time ago, Gabriel Jesus was destined for a life, polishing shoes in the streets of São Paulo, and now he's playing for Man City. Sometimes life just takes a big fat dig at you!

The boy had great talent for shoe polishing, but then life took a turn for the worse. All Im saying is, not all people manage to embrace their real talent.

And def not forgetting dele Ali whom spurs bought him when he’s at mk don, playing in the league one .
It’s the reason that’s they sees a potential in him and most importantly he’s given a chance to play!
I dun see why lallala is still in the team and why harry Wilson can’t be given a chance .
And monitoring his performance, he’s almost playing full matches this season when he’s not injured.

That was me Burkey, im going on info season ticket holders round my way have given me, for a regular starter in midfield they say he goes missing and needs to bulk up, i say that's probably true but would he be worse than say Lallana in the squad? He clearly has something we lack apart from Shaq now and then its not that often we ram a free kick home from distance.
Let him play the season out there, see what gives in the summer.

It’s not only the free kicks MLR. He’s a great left foot with accurate shots at goal . Something which is lacking currently in the squad.
not forgetting his pin point crosses and A confident penalty Taker.

Wilson needs to be given a shot and also take up one of our HG spots. He deserves it. What’s the point in putting a player out on loan, and him doing really well if we don’t give him a shot the following season.
