Anyone seen the video of Salah texting and driving that has been handed in to the police?

Poor guy is stuck in traffic on a main road and his car is surrounded by people trying to getting pictures and autographs, now he is accused of 'ignoring fans' and being a 'horrible man with too much money' because he didn't jump out of his car in traffic to take pictures with people or sign shirts?

Obviously he'll get in some kind of trouble with the police which is the law so fair enough but seems a bit daft that a so-called fan would have handed in the video to the police because they were pissed off at being ignored, seems a bit harsh on a guy who seems to usually have a lot of time for fans.

Irrelevant, he shouldn't be using his phone while driving. For me that's the most important point.

Wasn't debating whether he should or shouldn't be using his phone, obviously he shouldn't. I was more just surprised that he was getting mobbed by fans on a main road whilst driving and then getting abuse for not signing shirts and posing for pictures!

You just can't win sometimes, if I were getting mobbed I'd find somewhere else to look too,

All the thumbs down will be people who use a hand held mobile device whilst driving.

Maybe you would change your mind at fatal traffic incidents, picking people's body parts up or telling the mother and fathers their young child has life changing injuries or killed because someone was too busy texting or updating their social media.

Fatal four issues at road traffic incidents, Speed, seatbelts, distractions and mobile devices!

{Ed025's Note - im with you baz, great player...nice guy..should know better..

Absolutely should know better and shouldn't have done it, and will receive the normal penalty which for a footballer amounts to pretty much nothing.

Although he wasnt being mobbed by fans. He was being mobbed by young conscripts of a 'professional memorabilia salesman' who uses kids to get people's autographs and tries to sell them online. He's previously been involved with Mkhitaryan and Guardiola in the past year, and then making up lies when his fraud and child endangerment tactics don't work.

How difficult is it for these players to employ a driver and get tinted windows? 🙄

Salah using his mobile whilst driving is personic and deserves a big fine 👍.

{Ed002's Note - Maybe cut his texting fingers off?}

He was probably trying to contact security after seeing the mobs converging on him xD

Jokes aside, Bit unfair to mob a guy as he's driving like, especially with family in the car. Most celebrities do "events" for signing autographs (if they don't get caught in a coffee shop) yet players are expected to sign a contract at any time of any day at any place.
