Just out of curiosity ed what kind of following does liverpool have over in the states compared to the likes of utd, Chelsea, city. Watching the match tonight it looks good for liverpool while utd didn't seem to have much of a following there tonight. Which English clubs are followed more over in the states. Cheers eds keep up the good work.

{Ed025's Note - united have the biggest following in the US i believe deiser with liverpool not far behind, city and chelsea also do well out there, in the city of liverpool itself everton supporters outnumber the reds by 2/1 because we are proper scousers but in copenhagen you are top dogs mate.. :)

Wins like that don't mean much to us but that's a defining day for a lot of fans out there.

There was there elclastico for British football. The champions league final.

When I was in LA a few years ago, I saw plenty of Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and some City and Tottenham March. Barely saw any Liverpool stuff which was disappointing. Here in Aus I’d say Liverpool and Utd are about the same merch availability wise.

Hi Ed 25. You say that Everton supporters outnumber Liverpool by 2 - 1 in the City. This must be the explanation why outsiders regard Scousers as thick! . On my rare visits to the City I still see a lot more Red shirts than blue.

Ed 25 you only have to look at the kids in the streets with football kits on and you will see the reds are by far the most supported team in the city by far.

Lived in Cincinnati, Ohio (small city that borders Indiana and is 5 hrs from Chicago) and there are LFC fans everywhere (same with Utd) . The bar I used to watch our games at, were run by a Liverpudlian and die-hard LFC fan.

Ed25 I lived in gateacre park drive for a bit. Not now tho. Over the water now. Still got mates that way. funnily enough none of them blues. ones a villa fan. Go figure.

{Ed025's Note - gateacre is snooing with evertonians now ben, all the reds have moved away (over the water or denmark or somewhere) and youngsters are donning their royal blue jerseys in their thousands mate, the city has an identity now since the exodus of all things red and the people are happier now that they are not bored with tales of former glories.. :)
