I have noted with joy and concern the significant impact Klopp has had in luring players to LFC. Joy in the sense that we finaly have a manager whose appeal can influence the decision making of transfer targets. However i'm a bit skeptical of how this correlates to the overall pulling power of LFC as a brand. i. e if JK were not the manager as of today, how keen will players be to move to liverpool since many of those who have joined recently continually cite JK as the key reason for coming to LFC.

Yes he is a major factor but because he has got us to major finals. And into the top 4 again. Players see we are challenging again and that will make them want to come. That and the money we pay them.

It's all pr. If klopp were to go tomorrow and say conte came in all the players would be saying what a pleasure it is to be working with him.
Football is a business nowadays and the players have to keep the best interest of the club whilst they stay at lfc. The same applies to all the teams.

It's champions league football that is attracting better players.

It's a mixture of both. Don't forget it's Klopp that also steered us to successive CL campaigns.

You're right flashthered. He is a great manager. I see a similarity with shankly in that they're both really liked people. Easy to like and the sort of person I imagine people want to please by working hard.

I don't read into statements to much. Especially when you have players joining our B team (Southampton) and saying it's a pleasure to work with Mark Hughes.
