I'm starting to see why all the EDs become tired of Liverpool fans. We are such a whinny, pessimistic, expectant and sour bunch.

Yes, we were poor. TODAY.

So, why am I seeing posts like 'We're going to finish outside the top 4' and 'We're never going to win the Champions League Final. '

We have one more match, against Brighton, Brighton who have nothing left to fight for, neither relegation or a Europa place. We play Brighton at Anfield, Anfield which has been known to be our 12th man and inspire the boys to victory. We are in a leading position in the top 4, even if Chelsea win their remaining games, Liverpool will be the ones to decide where they end up finishing.

We have a Champions League final in three weeks. Something none of us, outside of possibly Ron, would have expected in our wildest dreams. Especially with Man City looking like sure fire finalists, a team we knocked out, btw.

We have made a number of progressive steps, signings, style of play, management, stadium capacity increase. So many positive steps.

And yet, certain members of the Liverpool fan base are so shallow minded that one poor performance sours everything. Wow, I wish to give my apologies to all the EDs that have to listen to our whinning and bickering. Worst of all, we are only being shown the comments that are appropriate, can only imagine the crap you have to shift through and delete.

End of the day, if supporting Liverpool is too hard for you, or we do not attain the success you so clearly desire, then support Real Madrid or someone more likely to win titles regularly. It will do your heart much better and we will not have to listen to endless gripes. The perfect solution in my opinion.

We have one game against a team that doesn’t travel well. We’ve then got two weeks to refresh ourselves for Kiev. Still in our own hands. We did it on the last day against Boro and we can do it now against Brighton.

Liverpool has blown three weeks in a row to guarantee top 4 for next season and have not shown up. I understand your post, but disagree. BHA will come all out for Liverpool next week and if we are not at our best, we will not finish top 4. We have no one else but ourselves to blaim. the past three weeks in domestic competition have been terrible. Blow a 2-0 lead at WBA, draw agains a horrible Stoke team, and absolutely not show up against Chelsea. I don't understand how you don't understand the frustration right now.

JohnCrowJunior, I am not talking to the people upset by the defeat today. That I completely understand as we were below par for the majority of the match. The people the message was meant for was those connecting this match with our chances in our next two. It is ridiculous. This season has seen an improvement, and yet people still want to talk rubbish about anyone connected with the club. They prattle on about Liverpool not being good enough for this, not good enough for that, we can't beat Brighton, we're going to lose top 4, Real Madrid are going to demolish us. I am so tired of listening to those fans, the fans who go all doom and gloom at the first hint of trouble.

It is a small section of fans, thankfully, and I am grateful for that. For all I know these fans I detest are young, pretentious and needlessly expectant.

So, the message was not meant for fans who can see this game in isolation, it is for those who believe this result in any way destroy's our season. Hope this helps.

Stone, there is frustration and there is outright "losing your s-word" and spouting your bile all over social media like a lunatic or spoiled, petulant child. You think these people are the only ones frustrate? Realy? These people think the rest of us are just cool and chill with the way we played? Come on, man.

We are all frustrated BUT if people thought Chelsea could not get the 3 points before the game then they did that on their own and showed an inability to grasp the realities of PL football. If people thought that our CL exertions would not in some way affect our league form esp. with our squad decimated by injuries in one position (midfield) over the past few weeks then again, they did that on their own. The fact of the matter remains that we are still in CONTROL of our destiny and that is how any of us would want it. Finally we will have a full week to prepare. the boys get a couple of days rest and we will give BHA a hell of a game. YNWA!

IF we fail to beat BHA at home, with what we have at stake, do we even deserve top 4?
Great season all in all, but look like we’re running out of steam at the worst time, failure to add during January looks to be catching up with us a bit.
All this said, I will be very surprised if we don’t win at the weekend, then have a good break before Kiev.
Top 4 means so much in terms of recruitment, but even if we miss out, we can still qualify with a win against Madrid.
It’s really not all doom and gloom, it’s been a great season, all be it with a few disappointing results, but we are far better than we were when Klopp took over and we are still getting better, just look a bit jaded atm.
Get behind the boys, they’re very well paid professionals and I expect a professional performance next week, the 12th man will make it easier for the boys so sing your hearts out.

Spot on, LFC MANGO and Yorkie. These "fans" seem so sure of themselves then my questions is "Why bother watching the team play if you are so sure they will lose"? They can't answer that cos all they know how to do is moan, whine and lose their heads cos LFC did not win a game that every other rational human being knew we could lose under the circumstances. They are so scared of their own shadows that they can't bring themselves to support the team when it is going thru a rough patch cos well, moaning is the easiest thing to do. We are STILL in a good ;position and we will have a full week of rest and prep and we will give BHA hell come next Sun and if we don't win, we have no one else to blame but us. YNWA!

Chelsea have not won their last 2 games yet.
If we finish 4th it’s because we deserve it, if we don’t then it’s because we don’t deserve it.
It’s a 38 game season, it doesn’t all rest on the last 4 games.
We’ve given everything for the CL final, I’m not worried about losing to Chelsea if it means we get to the CL final 👍.

That was not the intention. But surely you can see why some are frustrated over the last three domestic results.

Geri, I don't think LFC MANGO is being condescending. He like many of us, are as frustrated as these "fans" BUT we don't go around losing our marbles after a bad result ESP. if you know the unbearable circumstances under which our boys are playing. In fact, losing your marbles and acting like a spoiled child is how you lose respect, not earn it. BtW, respect is only deserved when it is earned.
