Ed001 mate, do you think we should have held on to lucas? Massivly under rated in my opinion. Great to see him having a great season with lazio. Top top lad.

{Ed001's Note - no, he wanted regular football and he wasn't getting that with us. It has done him good to go to a new team in a slower league and be first choice. He deserved to choose.}

I think Lucas earned the right to make a move where he would play regularly and especially to a league which suits him. Tbh we could have done with a responsible midfielder like him this season but he was also at an age where regular football was more important to him than being a bit part player in only a handful of games for Klopp's system.
Glad to see a player that took so much unfair abuse in his early LFC days doing well somewhere else. Very underrated midfielder but of course a lot of people have realised it a little too late.

Lucas deserves the praise he gets from LFC fans as he was a great servant of the club. However I believe it was the correct decision to let him leave and don't really see him playing too many games this season. If Klopp was going to use him regularly then he would still be here. Great to see him bringing a bit of flair to the Italian league though.

Lucas earned the right to do whatever he wanted after 10 years at LFC and becoming a leader in the DR. Also, remember that Cou and Bobbie signing for LFC was cos of you guessed it, Lucas who was also instrumental in both players settling well at the club and in the city. As a result, he deserves all the great things coming his way and Klopp was right in letting him have his wish w/ o standing in his way and we got good money for him as well (7.5m per Ed02, I think) . Keep going Lucas and stay blessed, my friend!

Really happy for Lucas that he’s playing well in a good side and even scoring goals!
Hope he stays involved with the club and comes back to work for us if he wants to in future.
Should have got a testimonial for 10 years top professional service!
