Hi eds. Great news coming that the anfield road end is the next stand that is being looked at to expand anfield beyond 60000. With demand for tickets so high and a season ticket waiting list longer than the nile my question is 1.is the kenny dalgdish stand being looked at into as expanding further down the line.2 I know the problems with the kop would be more tricky regarding the main road outside but could this problem also be solved further down the line and 3. What capacity do you think we would be comfortable selling out every week. The jump to 54k doesn't seem to be a problem and I think the same if we go to 60/ 61k.

{Ed025's Note - if they threaten the residents like they did for the last expansion im sure the obstacles can be overcome IR..

I think if we got to 70 it would be a hell of a lot easier, Utd got to 75 and pretty much wiped out their season ticket waiting list, although they have 80/ 90% season tickets whereas we are less than half I think and I’d say our support is comparable with Utd, maybe a little less?
I also think the demand is high because we are playing such exiting stuff at the moment.

Wasn’t there a capacity limit, Because of the transport facilities or something?

Anfield Road end will be the final stage of Anfield redevelopment taking capacity to 60000-61000.
Liverpool we're turning away 20,000 ticket requests before the Main Stand was done so will still comfortably sell out each week.
