Bloody hell, I look at all the managers in the League.

Arsenal have a dinosaur in Wenger. Conte unlikely to last past this season at Chelsea. UTD have Morinho, City have Pep. Spurs have Poch who will probably move on in the next season or two.

We have Klopp. Look further than that and each and every other EPL club have managers who will not last long and nowhere good enough to do the job at LFC.

Look further than that and which other options are there to take the job at Liverpool should Liverpool part ways with Klopp?

I am quite happy to let Klopp see out his contract :-)

Only manager I'd have instead of Klopp right now is Diego Simeone.

Will Simeone come to Liverpool though?

As it is, Madrid are probably going to get rid of Zidane.

I really think people need to start using there brains. Is there a better option than Klopp at this point to manage Liverpool?

List names of replacements in replies. Thank you :-)

Pep's pretty good.

It's really impossible to say. I think other managers would use the resources we have different and take the squad with future transfers in another direction. Would it work? Would it still make enjoyable football? Nearly impossible to predict but I would be neither pressing for Klopp to go at this point or panicking about a future need to replace him.

Pep can sign whoever he wants to. Can he build a squad from scratch? He had a pretty decent team when he came to City.

Wonder how Pep would have done with the squad Klopp took over from Brendan?

I think klopp wants the sack selling coutihno getting rid of studge an not bringing in another attacker is plane stupid an so naive, we going to been a real fight for top 4 with other squads that are stronger than ours.

RR - Pep is a very good manager, but he's not doing anything differently at City that he hasn't done at previous clubs already - and that is to assemble comfortably the best squad in the league with resources simply not available to any other manager (Mourinho aside in this case), and imprint his ideas around the sheer quality of his players.
I'm grateful for him being here, however, because wherever he is, Mourinho doesn't want to be there.

@hailstones

Not sure whether you are being sarcastic or serious?

If you are being serious then serious needs a new definition.

Re Simeone, he can't speak English (yet) which may play a part in why we haven't seen him in the Premier League.

I guess it will all come out in the wash come end of the season lads.

All I'm praying for is top four and hope some top quality joins in the summer for a title challenge.

I remain of the opinion that this window was a shambles but we could still get top four. Simply got to win tonight.

Where are the replacements for Klopp. Drum roll.

Ancelotti in a couple seasons but we shouldn’t get rid of klopp but we can criticize him. If we don’t challenge for the title next season, questions do need to be asked. For now get behind the team. Ps, Simeone has spent far more at a far bigger club than you think. Athletico are a huge team overshadowed by a behemoth. He’s nothing special.

Ancelotti? Ha ha.

I'm not to sure why we are discussing other mangers. I think Klopps job is 100% safe. Even if worst case we finish outside top 4 this season he will be here next season. 1 reason the owners will not fork out 7 mill for every year e has left on his long contract and 2 he's the best man for the job. Yes he has his faults but like someone alluded to who else is out there that would come to us.

Those calling for Ancelotti must be living in the past. The guy is a has been and no longer who he once was. He managerd to make BAYERN of all teams, the laughing stock of the Bundesliga. Now that takes some doing. He's old news.

As for Simeone IMO, if you like bus parking, 35% possession, counter attacking footie then he's your guy. There is a reason he is struggling big time now. Teams have figured AM out and don't commit when playing them as much anymore. Him not speaking English is irrelevant to me cos the bigger question is can he coach us and play the way we would like and the answer is NO cos he's a bus parker.

Ancelotti has managed some great teams to mediocrity, you look at the clubs and budgets he had at his disposal and he should have won a lot more. He was right that we needed a new keeper, defence and midfield when he was approached about the job all those years ago, I’ll give him that.

if we did get a new manager, he would improve the team big time, in one move, a a new Keeper,
its not rocket science is it .
