I, like im sure the rest of you are super dissapointed with the result. Especially on the back of the Swansea game. But some of the comments are ridiculous.

Not TAA best game at all, but don't be too harsh on the lad, definitely a lot more at fault. It shouldn't have been so easy for WBA to walk through the MF.

TAA is a promising player and a born and bred scouser, wants to play for us. Far from the finished article. Could have done better but he will sit back and try and learn from this. Everyone is frustrated at the loss. But I gets tiring seeing so much hatred and negativity towards players sometimes. We were shocking but sometimes players on the pitch aren't finished articles yet. Doesn't help any defenders when it is that easy to walk through out MF, so the first problem lies there, then you can look at the defence. plus Migs didn't have a good game at all.
T

Given how well we were playing this season we have it in us to beat teams like swansea who sit back and we could have won tonight if we played better. But no point losing yout sh*t. Some of the remarks directed at Klopp tonight. he got it wrong, He should have started Hendo in hindsight, easy to say, when he came on he steadied things. But to start saying you want to have him sacked, I think the club has moved forwards since he has taken over. Given some chances to some of the younger lads but he's made mistakes, Like personally would have rather not bought the Ox and given Woodburn some game time, but that's like.

Also we know we tried to sign some players in Jan but sometimes footy doesn't work like that. We went in for Lemar and pretty confident after looking at what macca said we enquired about Griezman? But those moves didn't happen. But really no use just hurling abuse out because we couldn't get a solid replacement for couts. I'd rather not panic buy and waste money. Even if we had a happy couts on the pitch today i don't think we would have won.

The owners have expanded the stadium, given trust in the manager. I like Klopp, i like the football we play and a lot of the time it works. So long as we try and improve what we need to. we lack organisation in the middle. Hendo does stable that a bit. Was clear when he came on. But realistically if half of you go what you wanted, and he got the sack, who would we get in?

Keeper needs addressing in summer, no secret, or even give Ward a run in, lad should get a chance.

I like Can but tonight he looked like his head was already in Italy.

The players need to look at themselves after tonight's performance. But also i don't want to get too negative about everything. We can't win every game, it's frustrating and upsetting to lose but no point just start hurling abuse and asking for Klopp to be sacked and all this nonsense. I'm dissapointed that we played so poorly but that's that, the game is over. The window is coming to a close and most likely no one is coming in. So I'd rather try and get behind the team and push on and make the most of the remaining games.

on a plus side i like the addition of VAR. Gutted we hit the bar :c but it did it's job!

YNWA.

What did you like about VAR? The wrong decisions or the slowing of play?

{Ed002's Note - That is not the real issue - creating a precedent is.}

The trick is to not get too up or too down whether we win lose or draw. However, results like this grate especially after the season we had after losing to city and then going on a fantastic unbeaten run.

I fear for the porto game, too many players resting on their laurels and leaving it up to others to perform. Can has been inconsistent all season, choosing when to show up to games, wijnaldum has been plain awful bar the city game a few weeks ago and putting a non effectual like the ox next to them was a recipe for disaster. Thing is, you would have thought klopp would have learned his lesson from the swansea game.

With lallana out there is zero creativity in that midfield and the way the defence is playing we will be lucky if porto don't put the tie right out our reach in the first leg.

What a time for klopp to decide to gamble again and not bring in anyone to replace couts in this window. Its a pity, the season was looking promising up to Christmas until we sold our most creative player.

I like the football klopp plays and we are exciting and entertaining to watch. i hate joses football and his arrogance but he knows how to win games and more importantly see out matches. now i don't want him anywhere near our club but i want a manager who tactically wins us matches and doesn't just rely on the brilliance of individual players. he has yet to make a substitution where i remember thinking wow that was a game changer. he is defensively naive and thinks you score 2 we score 3. and before people jump down my neck i. am along way from kloppout but jesus its so. hard being a loverpool player as its the hope that kills. just when u think we have are on the way to something special swanseas and west broms of this world come along and bang depression.

I understand the need to create a precedent going forward, Ed. But is it possible? Is it compatible with football? I'm not so sure.

Be interesting to see how it goes.

{Ed002's Note - well clubs and players will be drawing virtual rectangles after every forward walks in front of a goalkeeper.}

I must admit I didn't like the players calling for it, as if that gets worse, football could turn into a mockery and be so stop start, it'll be worse than American Football!

{Ed002's Note - Nothing can be that bad.}

I most be the only one who thinks VAR is good for the game. I don't care waiting 2 minutes. The correct decisions should be made that way we have nothing to complain about. Its also a good indication of which refs are rubbish and which are decent.
