Can't help feeling a bit disappointed with the window, especially if pip does go. However it could still be an exciting season. What's everyone else's thoughts? Don't think we've bought badly not sure on the ox but time will tell biggest issue for me is defence not being strengthened.

The defence has been strengthened. Robertson is better than Milner and TAA and Gomez are better than Clyne.

If pip goes we are no better off really? Yeah Sarah looks good and mane playing awesome but what else? The ox who wants to be a central/ attacking mid? He can't have been told this, he's played it what 7/ 8 times for the arse in 8 years and each time looked lost.

We'll all be watching the clock for the Spanish window to close. Imo coutinho is gone. There will be a way back for him with the fans if he stays ala suarez and gone in January. Not sure a new def fixes our defence regardless, think those problems are deep seeded. Just glad we didn't go and make a mockery of apology to Southampton. Perhaps we learned to conduct ourselves a little better.

Milner was excellent last season so Robertson must be sublime, TAA had played what 2 games? Gomez less!

We fans seem to go for deluded to even more so by the day.

even with him gone the squad as a while is in a better place than last season.
