Spineless football club!
Chase ? all summer, RBL say not for sale at any price, show some balls and won't sell.
Coutinho not for sale at any cost! Oh go on then if you want him we will sell, what a shambles.
We will start the season weaker than last year, Klopp stop lying to us, stop trying to tap up players and grow a set of bollocks!

Why don't you grow a set of bollocks yourself and post using your regular login name instead of creating a sockpuppet?

Speaking of login names, yours seems to suggest you'd have preferred Liverpool FC to have entered administration, or perhaps remained under the ownership of Tom Hicks. I can only assume that you are in fact a Manchester United or Everton supporter.

Sorta agree with the chasing a player that's not for sale is a waste of time and wonder is it look we tried to spend big but couldn't maybe next year but the fans think they tried idk other teams around us have strengthened going to be a tougher season ahead we nabbed a couple of bargains in mo and sal. to quote jc hope klopp isn't having to much faith in his current squad.

TBH I agree with the OP. If RBL can stand firm on their star player irrespective of whether he wishes to stay or leave, why can't FSG?
Coutinho is our best player and we are back to selling our stars the moment they reach the top. If that's not how feeder clubs work then what is?
Yes, the player wants to go but he signed a new contract last summer and if Klopp and FSG had any sort of 'backbone', they would make sure Coutinho stayed for another year so we could find a decent replacement or sign keita next summer.
But obviously that is not going to happen. Our club has a sense of inferiority complex when it comes to dealing with big clubs followed by bouts of panic buying of average players. Klopp's behaviour in trying to molly cuddle players through the media is a classic example of this. There is real lack of decisiveness and leadership when it comes to the transfer market.
If people can't see this, then FSG and Klopp have successfully managed to hoodwink people into actually believing we can challenge for major honours.
