Would be interested in people's views of the leaders in our squad.

I'm not even referring to the footballing ability but actual leadership qualities. I've a grave concern that there's no real
Leader in that group and it manifests itself everytime we drop points against the so called lesser teams as there's nobody there to either be a calming and patient influence when we're playing against a parked bus or to give a proper bollocking to people if complacency is the issue.

As it stands the senior people like Lucas and Milner are good guys to have around the place and I've no doubt add a positive vibe to the group but they don't appear to be leaders.

Henderson does seem to try but I'm still not sold that he inspires those around him.

What's others view on this?

Right if you where running in a straight line eithout any turn offs or other options but to go straight and there was a brick wall. Too higj to go over and to deep to dig under.

You then try to run at it. Nothing happens. You then run at it whilst screaming and acting all tough. Nothing happens. Do you continue like that for the bext 90 mins or look around for something different to hit it with.

The team try for 60 minutes with no luck. Its time to try a different apporach. Switch of formation or players. It won't make a difference having a real good leader on the pitcu screaming at everyone. How will that effect to opposition where trying to beat?

Point being its up to the coach to spend 60 minutes looking at this and finding weaknesses in the the oppostion and then make a change accordingly to give the team the best possible chance of victory.

You don't send someone into a gun fight with a spoon.

Klopp doesn't make changes until 80 minutes in and then its mostly like for like.

The best change we have made in a ling while and actual tactical sub was on monday.

Moreno pushed right out wide to occupy simpson and cout was moved into the middle and origi was dragging the cbs back with the fear of his pace. It didn't work but it gave us a goal.

That was the am who made it not klopp. I don't think he's got that. He does his way which is awesome and brilliant footy 70% its a solid setup but to win the leagues there has to be abother way. He has to find a way to win those games.

But be positive and pro active. 2-0 at half time requires a switch. 2-0 up at halftime requires a switch to protect the lead.

I get what your saying but I think we need more winners than leaders, the type of players who show up every week and try to win at all costs, too many at Liverpool just think turning up against the lower teams is enough because they play for Liverpool, I know he's a bell and hate using him as an example but Suarez when he wasn't biting people would chuck everything he had at the opposition regardless of who they where, his work rate never dropped. You can't say that about many in our first 11 right now, when they do all put the effort in we are probably the best team in the league, we seem unstoppable, but when the players only show up against the top teams there is a big problem, I don't think any team in the EPL is weak enough to think you can coast your way through it.
