How can people disagree when we are talking about a ex-player's life? Such sad sad people.
Get well soon Rigabert.

I have actually learnt to completely ignore it now mate. I don't think I've used the button any more than 10 times in this sites history. On the contrary, if I disagree I comment my contrasting opinions and invoke a discussion. I find the disagree button to be distasteful and childish in most scenarios if I'm honest. I probably wouldn't perceive the disagree function in such a way if it wasn't misused and abused though.

I'm sure some people who regularly hit the buttons have genuine and legitimate reasons for doing so.

ignore the disagrees mate. although ed001 you might wanna consider naming the agree/ disagrees similar to facebook i guess? atleast its transparent. may help with disagrees and what not.

{Ed001's Note - personally I would rather they were not on the sites at all, but more people want them than don't so they have stayed so far.}

Agree there are so many trolls clicking disagree to sensible posts they are not a true reflection of real supporters views (I sincerely hope! ) so I'd love to see them removed.

When your scrolling through on a phone it's very easy to knock disagree by accident, done it loads of times myself.
I accidentally knocked disagree on something about the 96 once and I was mortified, especially when posters started saying "what scumbag did that etc"
So some might be by accident.

I'd just have the "agrees" as a compromise.

Must admit Mikey I've pressed disagree by mistake a few times, but to be honest with you all, they don't bother me, it usually means someone has noticed your post, wether they agree or not.

May as well just keep the buttons, at least it keeps their hands busy and from playing with themselves for once.

Be only noticed that I have done it once through accident scrolling on the mobile, but there is probably more that I haven't noticed. I try to be more careful, but when you check the site first thing in the morning / last thing at night you can be a little careless sometimes.
