It's always interesting to see where the players that leave your club each transfer window actually go. I would suggest that none of the players that have left Liverpool this summer have gone to bigger or better clubs. That must be telling us all that they were not needed here and not necessarily good enough for the elite. That should be reassuring to all fans surely. No Suarez to Barcelona or Sterling to MCFC this time around. Let's kick on.

It also shows that although the window was by no means perfect it was a step in the right direction, we got rid of those who weren't good enough and replaced them with players who had ambitions of going where we want to go (champions league and beyond) and are the required quality.

Is it not a concern?
That despite not having CL football, or in fact any European football, no clubs wanted any of our players as they wouldn't make a difference to their squads?

We have, I agree, binned off those not good enough for our first team.

Wavy, I agree it's positive that we have moved on a significant number of players that weren't adding to our 1st team. By the same token it shows a) how poor our judgement has been in previous windows (Benteke, Balotelli) and b) we haven'the been great at development (Yesil, Markovic, etc al) . Let's hope that we are upping our game in both areas under Klopp.

No it isn't a concern is it. They were deemed not to be good enough at Liverpool and no other top teams came in to get them. That's the point. They have gone to what we might all consider to be 'lesser' teams to have a career. The point being that we have not lost any brilliant players this window that other elite clubs ŵere after.

They may not be going to bigger club but they are definitely getting a bigger pay cheque than rotting in our reserves.
