You confuse me at times ed02. When someone says an employee isn't good enough you slate them for saying it. And when they say how good an employee is (ie Klopp) you slate them for that as well. It's like unless someone's completely on the fence you want to criticise them, I don't understand it myself. Keep up the good work though, your time and knowledge is appreciated.

Sorry ed I think you're being a little harsh there, I'm pretty sure almost everyone on this page including ed001, would agree that Achterberg has had a pretty poor record. Imo there is nothing wrong with pointing that out, but if Klopp sees him as good enough then who are we to argue?

Whatever happened to coaches are transient employees etc? 001 is the one that started with the comments re JA although he was no doubt prompted by a poster.

{Ed002's Note - All staff at the club are transient employees - does that give the Liverpool fans to irrationally trash them constantly. Owners, managers, coaching staff together with past, present and potential future players are all dealt with appallingly by many of the fans - for no reason whatsoever. He didn't really trash him he only said he should have gone a long time ago. Your generalisation of people seems quite unnecessary as well. People have opinions, yes I agree with you that they shouldn't trash players/ staff but if someone is paid very handsomely to do a job most of us dream of I'm sure a bit of criticism doesn't keep them up at night. We finally know ed002 identity it's John actherberg, with all due respect ed you just said you don't watch football, if you have watched Liverpool's keepers over the past few years they start of well and all go down hill from there, you don't have to train with acterberg to know he is not up to standard, I appreciate your knowledge and what you share, but I believe as fans we are entitled to our opinions, and we shouldn't be slated for it.

You're right 002 I wish we didn't have to read it you undoubtably see more of it than us but this is a talk site and unfortunately there isn't much positive to talk about for us in recent years. The nature of us fans a that we all think we know better of course most of that is pure ignorance on our part but it is the way. I thank you and the other eds 001 especially for what you give us here. It's fantastic and second to none.

Achterberg surely doesn't have the most impressive of CV's, but deserves a chance with Karius. Mignolet hasn't had any real competition for years and as such it's hard to judge Achterberg's work. Especially considering the moronic aqcuisition of Bogdan.
