What are we seeing from Joe Allen tonight, usually when he plays well it's because he presses well, neat and tidy, calms the game etc. etc. I don't think Allen has ever put in a performance like he has so far tonight, a few crunching tackles, incisive passing.

Looks a completely different player.

I agree, some of his through passes have been sublime. Can't criticise any players on tonight's showing.

For me he has played this good before on a few occasions, He has it in his locker but I reckon it's fear of making a mistake. Needs to be braver on the ball. But we'll done tonight!
