Hi Eds,

Can you please tell me if Liverpool ever tried to get Delli Alli from MK Dons before he went to Spurs?
He looks a proper talent!

Do you know why Liverpool didn't try to sign him once they knew of Spurs bid or did he prefer them?

The next Liverpool manager. .he will have the same problems as BR,he'll have to sell our best players and replace them with many youngsters and senior players who are not 1st choice options, sadly whilst City and Chelsea have billionaire owners we can't compete. Without being based in the capital we can't attract.
The suggested names for future managers are Klopp - had similar problems as we have regarding competing against cash rich clubs, had a few decent seasons but was forced to sell his best players and last season had a dreadful first half season when they were in a relegation battle for a while, don't think he would do anything dissimilar to Rodgers.
Ancelotti - at the most he would last 2 years, he would probably state it's a 3 year plan by which time he would be almost 60, he's not the best for introducing young players, unless he works with a young (preferably ex scouse ) player alongside him I would be against this too.
Unfortunately due to our financial constraints and Northwest base whoever takes over from BR eventually will suffer the same fate .
Let's just support the current manager whilst he's here.
