its funny as i was just thinking about this, his silence is almost deafening! I'm actually starting to wonder if he will start the season as boss.

LeeWils - I can see it both ways. The first is that I think it's certain we will see Mr. Rodgers on the pitch sidelines on opening day, because the vital pre-season training and season preparation begins in earnest very soon, and it would be very unwise to have the manager situation remain "unsettled" at this time. The second way, is more of a conspiracy/mystery/thriller, in that FSG have told Rodgers to go on holiday and remain quiet, while they fish around for a better choice in manager. Why else is the appointment of the assistant manager still not done, unless it's to keep it open for a new manager who would bring in his own assistant manager? Anyway, the first option is the likely one.

Let's be clear on one thing, Rodgers will stay as the manager for the beginning of next season. If FSG wanted him gone, he would already be gone.

I was discussing this earlier.

{Ed002's Note - I am not going to go there at this time - it will cause no more than a lot more abuse.}
