I've read a few comments on SSN from some reds slating the fact we signed Milner (Subject to Medical)
Can I just say what a quality signing. I think he'll be a great addition and very very underrated!

I don't see the magic of Milner either. Yes he's a grafter and will always give 100% but so does Allen. Hendo is a grafter. What we needed was a bit of quality craft. Why has Milner omly ever been a bit part player for City and more importantly only ever view as good enough to be a bit part substitute for a poor England side?

A midfield 3 of Can, Henderson and Milner doesn't sound bad. Coutinho will then have the freedom of the pitch in front of this 3, and hopefully some of the midfield can focus on defending now.

But where does that leave a very expensive Lallana, Piledriver? We have too many players for far too few positions.

I would have Can,Lucas,Hendo and Milner fighting for the 3 midfield positions. Have Lallana, Coutinho and Markovic fighting for the roaming spot in ahead of them and 2 up front,
Simple maybe, but that's how I'd set up.

Milner is not what we need because he adds nothing special to what we already have in the team. Our squad is so unbalanced in some areas that it is becoming embarassing. We know the areas we need help at YET the geniuses at the helm of the club are neglecting them and focusing on collecting midfeilders like a lady collects shoes.
