Don't understand why Rodgers is playing Lucas every game if he's leaving and when Gerrard goes that leaves us with 3
First team centre mids? I know some will disagree but if you play 2 or 3 I think you need 4 in your first team squad, and I don't see any of the young ones being as good as lucas yet, and in my opinion, I'm not sure if Allen can play effectively in a two man centre midfield partnership with hendo if say can was out?

Allen cannot play effectively in our team, its been shown time and again that he is a weak link, has all the presence of a crisp packet blowing in the wind, can't tackle, can't pass more than five yards backwards or sideways, can't shoot and is knocked off of the ball too easily. Allen should be the one exiting, not Lucas.

Allen is to light weight to play in a good side. I'm struggle to see what Allens role is with the side as he isn't great defensively or attacking wise. He's been at the club long enough (despite injuries) but has shown no improvement when playing for us. I cannot remember a single game he's won for us.

Agree, lacks the movement or shooting skills of Llalana, the strength of Can, the vision of Coutinho or the engine and assists of Henderson. Keeps things ticking over but not a genuine defensive enforcer, nor a threat going forward.

I think Hendo's suspension and Allen coming in was a major factor last few games of last season, we looked so pedestrian. We should be selling him rather than Lucas every day of the week, we lack an experienced defensive enforcer without Lucas (although Can will probably get there before too long). we lack nothing that can't be easily replaced without Allen.
