Ed's is Xavi Simons a genuine target?
Unless he plays only in the front 3, we simply do not play with that kind of ten.

Is he a Diaz replacement as we have moved on from Gordon, who came very close to joining last summer?

Agree. Would be a huge step down from likes of Wirtz.

I don't really understand why we are looking at attacking midfielders? Wirtz would be incredible of course but a striker surely had to be higher on the list.

For me Simons would be 3rd in the list starting with Wirtz, then Cherki.

But tbh, if we didn't get either of the first two, I'd rather just keep Elliot.
