On a free he’s worth a punt, yes his wages will be high but he will bring a touch of class to the team I’m sure that will rub off in training. We won’t need him to play 90 mins every game but he’s a hell of a player to bring off the bench if you need some creativity.

KDB was brilliant in his prime, but anyone who thinks he’s going to play 60 games next season is kidding themselves. At best he plays 20 - 25 and of that number of games half of them will be him playing himself back into match fitness. He’ll be a big disruption to our continuity. It’s a really nice idea to sign him but it is a step backwards in terms of planning for our future.
