I really hope the Adam Wharton rumours are true. We could sell Grav and Endo to bring in a bit of cash and get a young player with potential who has proved he can play in the premier league.

We don't buy yaro because 'he's only had 33 senior games' but Wharton is okay with 16? I've maybe not watched enough of him / know his best position, howerever we, MUST, only buy someone who's going to start every game. Too many 'decent lads' nit really cutting it for me. I can name 9 midfielders, possibly 3 too many.

Buying players like Wharton and Gordon is a safer bet than Latinos who dream of FCB/ RM.
They both come from the north and understand the culture, and both have a high ceiling.

I do rate Endo WDW given he was arguably our best signing last year and a valuable squad player. Gravenberch the jury is still out on, but he’s 21, 22 and you’ve written him off. Whilst Wharton is a talent, he’s barely any PL experience and suddenly he’s a world beater in your eyes. I’d reevaluate that double negative of yours.

given the right game time, and off the back of 2 very good seasons in the championship, Ib for Ib, is Wharton a upgrade on Tyler Morton? Seriously think we should be given Morton a chance.
