Any possibility of bringing Suarez back on a 1 year deal? Think we might be 1 player light up top.

{Ed002's Note - No the vile runt won't be returning.}

No thanks. Lied to Kenny and made him look really foolish ( cringe thinking about the supportive t-shirt) . On the footballing side alone, class player in his day but a jerk. Think Klopp would end up knocking him out.

Why would you want that tramp back?

Haha that’s got to be a joke from a poster that obviously doesn’t support or follow Liverpool FC.

Light up front?

Jota, Diaz, Nunez, Bobby and Salah and any one of Gordon, Elliott or Carvalho to pick from.

Light?

Gordon is a kiddie and Elliott more a midfielder.

If we need to play our 6th choice attacker then we are either in dire straights or we are playing a match we haven’t prioritised (like an early round of the League Cup for instance) . It is an ideal position for someone like Gordon to get a little bit of experience without any real pressure. It’s not that long ago that we were over the moon with three really good attackers. Now we have five and a few youngsters coming through - it will be interesting to see if Layton Stewart gets a bit of experience this season. He was / is highly rated I think and is bag from the injury that kept him out for most of last season.

The point is, is Suarez the same footballer he was, and still good enough for our 6th attacker spot? The answer is no, on both. Doesn't matter if he's available for a year. The club is setting up the next generation and this would be going backwards. You bring in someone like him, and he'll disrupt the development of the younger players, not to mention the dressing room. Let the youngsters learn from the others. We have plenty they can learn from. Henderson, Milner, Thiago, Van Dijk, Firmino etc etc .

The natural - what is the appeal in suarez for you?

Even if we may be looking for an out and out striker to cover Nunez, Suarez isn't the answer for all the myriad reasons we should be familiar with.

We'd be mugging ourselves right off.
