Again, I don't take morning tabloid headlines as anything other than speculation, however, have any of the Eds got fresh insight into Mo leaving potentially this summer for an alleged 60 mil? and if so who they would have in mind to replace him? Many thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I have answered repeatedly about potential replacements. I am not aware of any £60M offer for the player.}

This may be heresy but if someone offers us £60m then I honestly think we should accept it. It’s daft money for a 30 year old player whichever way you look at it and we’ll be able to invest that in a younger model.

He would leave with my absolute best wishes, the same way as Rush did In the ‘80s and this team would quickly move on from his going.

No room for sentiment in football, why wait a year and the get £0 for him.

I would jump at the chance to get 60m for Salah. I know the upheaval is a risk but why wait when we can move on Now. Much prefer to reinvest now and let someone come in to start developing now rather than lose him for nothing, have to reinvest with no incoming resource and to have used the season playing someone who doesn’t see their future with us. Each to their own though and so long as he performs I will always support him, and I am sure he will. Whatever people may say about him he is quite professional, interviews aside!

As it originates in The S*n I'd be disinclined to believe it. They're the least likely to know if it was being planned, unless Ramy Abbas has become even more of a tosspot lately.

I’ve been advocating to sell Mo a season guy when the price was highest. . . But this isn’t great timing now imo especially after having sold Mane. Really don’t think losing the top 2 front that group is ideal prep for the new season. Much rather let him go for free.
