Heres a rumour for you (from a Data Analyst) .

Hwang Hee Chan is on the list as a squad replacement player for Minamino/ Ox/ Origi.

I think between Curtis Jones, Fabio Carvalho, Harvey Elliot, they should eat up Minamino and Ox minutes, IF we do actually go out and get Nunez, we won't have to worry about who takes Origi minutes.

Actually that wouldn't surprise me forza, Hwang always looked liverpool type player back to when he playing for Salzburg. Think some of Ed's said at time we interested in him or where watching him. Not saying I would like to see us sign him but I could see it happening. Origi and minamino scored some v important goals for us last season and they may want somebody to fill that role for a season r 2.

{Ed001's Note - we also showed interest before Wolves made his move permanent, among other teams, which forced them to complete the deal earlier than they had intended.}

I will never forget when Hwang sent Virgil for a hotdog then curled into the net, in the 4-3 win against Salzburg. He is a decent player.

Nunez to replace Mane, Hwang to replace Origi, Carvalho to replace Minamino, Ramsay to replace Neco Williams?

would have thought a younger player to replace origi for domestic cups and push for place on bench.

rumoured interest in watfords joao pedro seemed to fit the bill.

Why sell Minamino for 15-20 mil and sign Hwang for a similar price? Better to use the young players like Stewart or Cannonier. If we want to sign a versatile squad player might as well go for an under 21 HG player.

Yeah i was more impressed with him than minamino to be fair.

I ageee ravo. Hwang makes little sense. For one, Wolves have just turned his loan permanent for £15m so he won't come cheap. For two, he's possibly got to do Military service soon as he's South Korean.

{Ed002's Note - Military service is not an issue - it will be done before the season starts.}

Even then Ed002, he'll cost more than we'll get for Minamino. Surely it makes more sense to let Carvalho, Elliott and Gordon cover the loss of Minamino and Origi?

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool have no interest in the player and he has already moved this summer.}

I don’t want us to sign hwang but I thought he was the player that stood out when we played Salzburg and at the time I was confused why we were after minamino and not him. Having said minamino I think has been a good buy. He has proven to be a good squad player and crucial to our cup wins this season.
