Rumours today that Liverpool have spoken to Bayern about Gnabry, how true is this Ed002?
I had previously heard that Klopp likes the lad and his direct style of play, hope he comes in, already proven at the highest levels.

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure about direct discussions I am afraid.}

Would be a logical move. Can’t argue with his output.

I agree VVV. It makes sense.

10 goals+ In the league every season for the last 4 seasons and 20 goals in 30 odd games internationally show he has quality and consistency.

VVVV totally agree the lad is hands down a better option than Dembele and I also feel Dembele would prefer Chelsea or PSG as he has turned us down once before and from memory, location was part of the rejection!

That’s 16 goals per season in the German League? Not having a go at the lad as from what I’ve seen (admittedly very little and only on the telly) he seems like a decent player. I’m just a bit wary of the lad being beaten up with statistics of he were to find scoring a bit harder against PL teams.

Jurgen, Will be very interested in Gnabry, and more than
interested in a SWAP deal plus low cash which happens not very often these days, it won't be a straight swap although i hope it will but Germans are "very cannot" as we all know!

He gets a 26 year old going into his prime years, versus keeping a 30 year old Mane whose speed and reflexes will only go worse not better. Also he can play right wing which keeps Diaz in his preferred left wing role.

It's a no brainer for Klopp and us. I want a top, top class centre forward plus Gnabry.

He's also allegedly turned down Bayern's latest offer of €19m a year. I'll let the finance experts among us work out what that is.

Serge Gnabry didn't fair too well when he played for Arsenal. His
career catapulted after moving to Bayern, maybe he found it a lot easier playing in the Bundesliga. It has been mentioned before that defences in the said league are not as strong as the EPL. Werner's numbers in the Germany were fantastic as well. Naby Kieta also scored a lot from midfield.

{Ed001's Note - he was a kid.}

Ed001 what do you think of Gnabry now mate? Have to admit have not seen him beyond the obligatory highlights.

{Ed001's Note - better than Sancho, but difficult to judge him on the Bundesliga games as the defending is so abysmal.}
