Hello ed2 hope you keeping well? we've been linked to isak the swedish player quite a bit recently, looks v good player albeit I've only seen him couple of times for Sweden. i checked the search and last time you mentioned him was mid November and we had shown no interest at that time. just wondering has anything changed on him from a liverpool point of view.

{Ed002's Note - Alexander Isak (S) Michael Zorc wanted to take him back from Real Sociedad regardless of any different wishes of the coach at Borussia Dortmund and the interest from BD may continue still. Barcelona see him as a possible addition but are not well placed to add him but could be if they cannot sign Haaland. Manchester City have a desire to add the player, again if they cannot sign Haaland whilst Chelsea have considered him as a Tammy Abraham replacement but consider the asking price high. Manchester United have watched the player and will need a Cavani replacement in the summer and will have a new coach. Arsenal see him as an option to their preferred Lacazette replacements but the price is a concern and again they may not be attractive. Juventus also offer a solution for the player. Do not be surprised if Milan look to a deal. Real Madrid are keen but have preferred options. Real Sociedad have financial woes and may take the opportunity to profit now they have removed the buy back clause to keep him this season. They will seek the full €70M termination fee in cash from sides other than Borussia Dortmund who will have a discount - but will likely not get takers at that price. I am not aware of any approach from Liverpool nor how an out and out striker would fit in to the side.}

An out and out striker with 4 league goals in about 25 appearances this season.

He's barely worth €17m let alone €70m. He's literally no better than Origi and would be the worst signing since Andy Carroll for the price. Baffling why so many clubs are interested in him.

I will have to agree with MK here. He is not that good. I would seriously look Darwin Nunez or Christofer Nkunku.

We have no interest in Nunez or Nkunku. If we sign an attacking player in addition too Carvalho its a wide forward whos versatile enough to player as a striker. Players like Bowen, Raphinha, Danjuma. Forget bout Nunez. He is the new Kovacic.

Isak has bags of potential on what I've seen of him, whether he fulfills r not another story.

A versatile forward player who can play on the wing or up front. Sounds exactly like Nkunku. I get big demand and big price attached, but think he’d be the perfect long term Bobby replacement, would absolutely love him.

{Ed0666's Note - He looks a player him. Let’s see if he can elevate him self on a bigger stage? Worth the gamble tho in my opinion
