Any interest in Gavi as a cheaper alternative to Bellingham? He's rejected the contract from Barcelona who likely can't afford to offer him any higher wages and he has a release clause of £42m.

Talk or an option?

{Ed002's Note - Gavi (CM) Barcelona will not sell and that has been shared with Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG who enquired. Liverpool and Bayern Munich have sent scouts to watch him. He will get a new contract with a Buy Out clause which will make him pretty much untouchable. Still a kiddie.}

Ed002 are the buy out clauses in Spain with the league so if any team makes that bid Barcelona can’t stop him from leaving if he wants.
Did that bot happen with Naymar?

{Ed002's Note - Yes, broadly it is a case of offering the full amount in cash and then it is down to the player. Neymar is an example, Thomas Partey another. But it needs to be paid by the player so there needs to be an agreement. Gavi wants to stay so I would not expect it to come in to play.}

Ed002 how are Barcelona doing financially now wages do they still need to move a lot of players on or should they be ok by the summer Dembele out of contract in the summer I would of thought that should take a bit if the wage bill.

{Ed002's Note - They have a medium term solution meaning money is not an immediate problem.}

They refinanced a large part of their debt and have the ability to bounce back very quickly with revenue generation. Plus their wage bill isn’t now much different to ours. They will likely post a profit this year and either way debt doesn’t really affect the stability of Barca/ Real, they would never forced under.

They will not go under but their days of buying whomever they want are gone. Manchester, West London, and Paris control the market for players now.
