Do you see Nat Philips returning in the summer to be the back up alongside Konate once Joe Gomez is sold or is that him likely away now ?

Will get game time for sure next season with VVD needing the occasional rest and Matip's body always capable of breaking down ( not this season touch wood ) .

Sadly if he does leave hopefully he gets the chance to get a send off in front of a packed Anfield for his fantastic performances last season in getting us into the CL which is vital to his we financially operate, it's the least he deserves .

{Ed0666's Note - this my friend is the million dollar question. I would replace him with Matip and keep Philips long term. But it’s anybody's guess as to what happens in the summer?

IMO Phillips will not return to LFC. I don’t think he is at Gomez level.

Can see JoGo leaving next summer. He needs to be playing as much as his body allows.
I would get rid of Him, Neco and maybe even Matip and buy Kounde.

Players always split fans opinions but for me the one that counts is the gaffers.

Last season despite having been at the club for however many years Klopp chose to start a kid with no pace in a high line ahead of him and not only that Fab and Hendo started ahead of him on numerous occasions.

Klopp admitted he got it wrong by playing Fab at the back and ill be honest Phillips did very well in the games he played there in our final 10 game run in.

For me i believe if Klopp believed he had it wrong with Phillips and he was ready to play regular first team at Liverpool then 1 he wouldn't have signed Konate and secondly he would have featured this season.

This isn't me bashing Phillips i'm just trying to read between the lines on what Klopp thinks of him.

Klopp says he reminded him of himself as a player. Enough said. I do want Phillips to do well of course, I doubt very much it will be for Liverpool.

Will always be grateful to Phillips for his contribution last season for top 4. He shed blood for us and got his nugget on many a dangerous ball into our box. YNWA.

Don't forget about Sepp van den Berg. He is killing it this season and can also cover right back. I would have Virgil, Konate, Matip and van den Berg as our centre backs next season, start intergrating Bajcetic into the first team, loan out Koumetio and sell Gomez and Phillips.
