Morning chaps. question for ed002. Any truth in the rumours we're trying to get savic off Lazio with a swap plus cash and shaq . by all accounts they are the front runners for big shaq. cracking bit of business if Edwards could pull this off. I think savic could be a cracking addition to our midfield?

{Ed002's Note - Lazio are interested in Shaqiri but SMS would be hugely expensive. I wouldn't think Liverpool could raise the money.}

As the Ed’s have mentioned on here swap deals are quite rare and they normally tend to be dealt with separate anyway. The media and fans sometimes get carried away and always try and rumour a swap deal but if Liverpool want a certain player they’re not going to change their minds to get a player from another team just because that team is interested in one of their players.
Selling Shaqiri to Lazio is going to generate the same income towards Saul, Bissouma or Nehaus as it will towards Savic.

Apparently, Shaq has asked the board to move and they've accepted. There is no deal in place with Lazio but some have jumped the gun because he told the Italian press he'd love to go to Lazio. Further, Napoli, Lazio, Sevilla and one other team have shown interest already. This is one that might develop quickly if Lazio does show interest.

What are ed's thoughts on SMS and his potential under JK? I've heard some say he could be hot and cold like Pogba, and is a bit of a luxury player.
Also what of the Japanese player Kamada, any info on him? His show reel makes him look insanely good.
