Every teams has been in same boat with regards less pre season. We can't use that as an excuse.
My own opinion is playing players out of their natural or main positions can lead to more chance of these incidents.

{Ed077's Note - and having less options to rest and rotate players have contributed to adding to the injury woes as well IMO.}

exactly space and the more injuries you get, the more you rely on others to play more which increases their chances of getting an injury due to less rotation. Vicious cycle unfortunately.
