Good evening ed's and reds. Is there anything in Liverpool scouting Dortmunds young 17 year old AM Giovanni Reyes at all? Maybe not a move now but I was wondering what the opinion on the lad from Liverpool was as I have seen potential links.

not surprising they would scout him based on his skill set and progression over the last year. before anybody jumps down my throat I will also say that the fact that he's American has to be an attractive option to Liverpool just like Christian pulisic. Liverpool's not going to sign somebody based on where they're from clearly but if they have talent and also have marketing capabilities that seems to be like a win-win. as an American I'm just glad we finally have some Young bucks, who actually have skills and who are not playing in the toilet league that is MLS.

Absolutely agree on the nationality not deciding but definitely influencing a decision. Take Minamino for example. Great player and in pre season has looked a step above what he was when signed. However, add on to that there really isn't many Japanese players at the top top clubs. His marketing for the club will push us in a direction not achievable before in japan.
