Any truth in the Brewster to Villa rumour?

Apparently we don't want that big a fee, weird cos he homegrown and we need as many as possible as I think we at our limit in the squad .

I know they’re in totally different circumstances, but doesn’t it seem crazy when one rumour says Brewster for £20 million, and another says Wijnaldum for £15 million. Anyway, don’t believe everything you read in the press 😏.

See what you mean razor for a young lad with bags of talent seems a steel at 20 mil, I hope we don’t lose him though I think he’s going to be a star with the right path set out for him.

Perhaps attempt to insert a buy back clause? That's the only way I'd let Brewster leave Lpool. Then again, what club would agree to that?!

Whilst I’d love to see Brewster turn into a Liverpool club legend, none of us can hide the fact that £20m for a player who hasn’t made a single premier league start is actually a fantastic bit of business.

Yes, it may turn out bad business if he scores 20 goals a season for the next ten years but then we only have to look at Solanke and Ibe to see what could also happen.

Klopp's comments after Brewster's scoring games during pre season were around his work rate off the ball, which 'could' be telling.
Being as FSG do will not borrow money to fund transfers, it could be that JK and Edwards are willing to use Brewster's current hype in order to add to the kitty, because they don't see him fitting our system and the fact that he is in big demand.
I understand why a world class, robust CB and creative CM are priority singings cause sometimes it does look as though other sides have found the way to stifle and counter our current tactics, and every great side needs to evolve. I reckon Klopp wants to mirror the great Italian defences of the 90's.

If he is going to Villa for only 20m there would be a substantial sell on percentage, I guess 25%.

Agreed Carlos either that or a buy back clause, I just hope whatever happens the lad has a great career he deserves it after fighting back through his injuries.

They've just agreed a club record fee for the Brentford striker Ollie? About £28 million. So I think that kills off the Brewster feed.

They have opted for him over Divock. Big gamble that, i'd have gone for the proven quality myself.

The fee has been agreed for Ollie Watkins and I watched quite a bit of Brentford last season, and he looks a great player. It's not a done deal yet, but I expect it to go through.

This will likely end their interest in Brewster.
