Hey Eds, hope you're all doing well. While any first team attacker signing will depend on the outgoings (like Origi), which attacker do you realistically think we can bring in as a front 3 cover if the sale took place?

{Ed002's Note - I would hope that Brewster gets his chance.}

I'm of the same opinion. Would absolutely love Rhian to get a chance. He was impressive for the Swans.

Brewster shone in the u20 world Cup more so than greenwood who has been outstanding for united. He needs a chance and run of games so he can shine for us in the same manner. On the flip side we need to be patient and not let what greenwood has done for ubited put a weight of expectation on rhian.

Couldn’t agree more Ed. Really hope Brewster gets his chance as he worked hard for it out on loan.

Redscar-Brewster played in the under 17 World Cup not in an under 20, don’t think Greenwood was in the squad, he’s a couple of years younger.

I'd prefer a loan for him. He hasn't enough senior football experience, injury history, would be brilliant for his confidence as well and I don't think he would get enough game time if he stays with us this season. A full season on loan playing loads and in 12 months time he would be banging on the door.

tbh I dont' really much attention to what happens at under age level other than it's interesting to see who is playing well. each player has their own development curve.

also this is the second or third time I've read someone make a comment about a player playing in a team or comp they haven't played in. starting to wonder if people are becoming a bit Trump-ish with their facts hahaha.

As soon as we pulled out of Werner deal Rhian will be given chance by Klopp.

Look at Greenwood, saka, Brandon Williams, foden this year while previous years the likes of Trent, rashford, AWB as examples of players breaking into big teams without any senior experience on loan previously. So often loan deals can hamper a player who might be better learning to play in the style his manager and team work on each day. You look at arsenal letting gnabry go to WBA under tony pulis as the perfect example, gnabry far more suited to arsenals style at the time yet a loan to a team who play ugly saw him struggle instead.
