Eds,
Thanks as always for your hard work and patience.
You’ve indicated that it’s unlikely Liverpool will spend big/ at all over the summer with the financial constraints.
There’s some big talent across Europe who are free agents, Cavani/ Thiago Silva being two) .
Both are ageing, and don’t fit the usual mould, but would they be targets? Cavani in particular could do a job covering the front 3 and still has quality - or am I living back in 2014?
All the best.

{Ed002's Note - Cavani would demand huge wages and would have no interest in providing cover for Liverpool and playing in the League Cup. Thiago Silva would be suitable as a starter for Liverpool for a year. Liverpool could look to sell Gomez to cover his wages.}

I don’t think people realise what those 2 were on at PSG vs what our wage structure is.

They’d come in as highest earners, I’d much prefer some young hungry talents that can slowly integrate e. g Gomez.

I'd rather keep Lovren than sign Thiago Silva. Especially not at Gomez's expense. Gomez is one of the best CBs in the league and only 22. What more can u expect from him at this age? He will only get better.

Hi Ed’s, in terms of our own free agent Lallana, any idea where he could be off to? Last I heard interest from Leicester but nothing really mentioned.

{Ed002's Note - Adam Lallana (LM, AM, CM) time will come in the summer and he will have options home and abroad no doubt - but right now Leicester has indicated interest but need to think how a deal stacks up with age and wages - and perhaps it will not be seen as an improvement. A return to Southampton might suit all parties as long as the wages are reasonable. Rangers, Brighton and Burnley have all seemingly been considering Lallana with making any move as far as I am know. The MLS would offer options but there is only until August 7 to sort it out and can likely now be discounted. Southampton, Leicester else perhaps Brighton of the others seem most viable right now.}

Cavani also said some "unkind" things about Liverpool when Suarez was here.

He'd go down like a lead balloon with The Kop.
