Ed001 do we have any idea on the length of injury to AB as of yet? Club been very quite with it, is it because they don't actually no how long it will take? Lopped said a few weeks and it's just about been that, I'm guessing it's worse than first thought?

{Ed001's Note - this is tedious. They have not been quiet and it has been fully explained, by the club in their normal business and by me. There is absolutely no suggestion it is worse than thought, you are just making that up. It has always been said he will be out until after the international break. Why keep asking?}

Fair enough Ed, tbh I’ve been on Hols for 2 weeks and not been on here much or read any updates on him.

there's an american doctor with a great explanation of the ins and outs of what they're dealing with re alisson's injury. search for it on youtube. it's interesting and well done.

a very quick summary. it's likely a partial tear of the calf muscle, and the timetable for a return after getting injured this way is dependent on the body of the injured person. since alisson hasn't ever tore a muscle before in his professional career, they're not going to know for sure how long it will take until he's healed.

the average athlete seems to need around 6 weeks to heal with this type of injury, but could be quicker or could take a little longer, depending on how alisson's body heals.

You're welcome. It's all speculation of course, but the doctor goes to great lengths to explain himself and provides a lot of evidence.
