ed002 will it be another loan or transfer?

{Ed002's Note - He is priced out of a transfer so it will be another loan - almost certainly back to Berlin - a couple of other sides enquired as well.}

Hopefully he can come back next season I think he has a lot of potential and looks to be a late bloomer like matic.

Weren't Athletico Madrid linked a month or so ago with crazy money being mentioned?

ed002 how good was he last season I see reports that he was playing very good. But I don't watch germen football.
Did he sign a contract extension as he still has 4 years left on it,
has there been any interest in a permanent transfer from anybody, I know there was a lot off paper talk about atletico madrid showing an interest in him. If so would they be interested in a loan?

{Ed002's Note - Herta Berlin were very pleased with him and would have purchased him and the whole stinking mess could be over. Sadly Liverpool overpriced him for a sale and they will look to continue to screw up his career.}

Apparently Hertha have won the race to sign him for another year. Both he and the club want a deal. We’re doing a markovic with the lad and messing him about. As good as Klopp is he’s gave the kid promises about games that he’s simply just not going to get. Should do him a favour and sell him before we muck up his career.

Ruin his career? How so ED002 he's playing week in week out at a very high level when not injured.
Why should the club under value an assets? If his injures were to subside he may well be an option or be valued even higher. Loans seems to makes perfect sense at this moment in time if clubs are not ready to match his valuation.
Putting a negative swing on a story for no apparent reason.

{Ed002's Note - The player has no career at Liverpool. No planned future, has been lied to and likely could not get a work permit. I have not put a negative swing on anything. Perhaps you simply don’t understand the situation at all?}

Read the same stuff here about Clyne yesterday, why do Liverpool ask too much for these players. It is obvious Clyne, Grujic and others have no hope whatsoever of playing for Liverpool. Surely moving them on permanently is best all round for evryone.

Maximising tbeir value "if"we have to eventually move them on is what's best allround for everyone. if Grujic can stay fit allseason he can be one of the best midfielders in the bundesliga.

How is trying to get the most for one's asset messing up someones career. This is a business, and one which historically was run very badly. FSG are putting that right, and if MG was one of the stand out performers in that league last season, then of course he is worth 25/ 30m.

Promises were made to Grujic that were not kept, if he cannot even get a work permit then why not sell him with a clause similar to Camacho who we just sold.
The Grujic deal seems like it is heading the same way as the Markovich catastrophe.

Another loan to Hertha. Apparently LFC have financial penalties in place should Hertha not play him enough. Am I the only one that sees the irony in that?

Promises! this is a mens game and can be very very harsh. will people please get over the promises, Grujic is not a child.

So because its a mens game, its ok to lie? how very adult.

If you are promised something then breaking it is not keeping your word. very professional!

I don't think anyone is saying it's OK to lie but I can only imagine the promise may have inferred '. if you're deemed good enough and better than what we currently have'.

Considering that Herta Berlins manager is reported as saying Grujic was one of the best midfielders in their league, how can you accuse Liverpool of overpricing him except of course Liverpool don’t want to sell him. Why would we keep a player who has no future with us. To compare him with Markovich was unreal. He cost us reported 20 million, so why shouldn’t we try to recoup a decent return for him, and I think it’s fair to say given the few appearances he made for us he didn’t look like he could handle the premier league.

Grujic is going back to Hertha on loan.
