So, as my source is talking again. I had a text response this morning to my question. What’s the mood like now?

Answer, everyone was gutted last night. They felt as though they could have handled the situation a bit better, and after the initial City storm their first goal came when the game had reached a bit of a level. Having got back into the game, everyone feels they should have done better.

But here is the interesting part, I was told the teams whatsapp group pinged a fair bit last night and everyone agreed. Forget it. City pushed everything and beat us 2-1, they couldn’t play much better. We could. Equally 4 points. Let’s go on another run. The team are focused on not dropping any more points for the remaining games. They can’t do anything now to close the gap. Only we can. So let’s do our job. Most vocal were, VVD, Hendo and interesting, Fabinho.

Could be true because Fabinho was very vocal after the PSG defeat in the tunnel lol. But great rumour pal, keep them coming. Made me feel more optimistic than I already am.
