The Echo have reported the club could be open to a more lucrative sponsor with either Nike or Adidas, any truth in this?

I have read they are attempting to get 75m per season with New Balance Adidas Nike and Puma all mentioned as potential providers of the kit. It does seem we need to maximise our selling point to help Klopp delivery success on the pitch.

There have been reports that Liverpool are looking for a record deal with NB. To be honest I really like the kits we’ve had with NB. I think the Nike kits are hideous.

Barcelona supposedly has a deal for £140 Million per year with Nike (ManU are at £75 Million per year already, with Adidas) . That's the standard to beat. I like the New Balance kits. Hope we can continue with improved terms.

I like Adidas but let's not forget that they dumped us when weren't so successful. Not entirely their fault because we underachieved and didn't have CL football for some time. Warrior/ NB came along and gave us a good deal. They came to us when we were down, so it would be nice to have them when we are on the up. The question is, we're not here to do charity and neither are they. It is a business opportunity for both sides. So, whoever stumps up the cash, will get the deal and hopefully the money will be invested wisely to strengthen the team further. So, be it Adidas, Nike or NB. as long as they pay us well, that will be good enough. But I understand the concerns about Adidas/ Nike kits which are usually carbon copies of other teams bar the team colors and logo.

New balance kits have been good, wouldn't mind staying with them :)

DAPred makes a fair point also.
