Hi Ed's.
I've seen tabloid talk of dortmund being willing to sell pulisic this summer.
Is there any truth in these rumours?

In case the Fekir deal doesn't go through, Liverpool didn't have any backup option for Coutinho replacement? If we had, why are we not trying for them?

Pulisic is very talented but his end product is a bit lacking.
He had 27 starts last season and got 4 goals- which we would normally consider pretty disappointing from a first choice attacking player.
Yes he might improve, but then the PL is possibly a little bit more difficult than the Bundesliga.

I wonder if the reason LFC are not actively chasing is that he doesn't (yet) have enough end product?
Maybe the reason the club prefered Fekir is that he got 16 goals last season? Even in a weaker league that's still impressive.

anonymush, thing is mate he offers so much more than just goals as I'm sure you're aware. At 19 he's on track to be one of the best around, it's kind of hard to think he's only that age but he is and he's bloody special. I get why some may prefer Fekir right now because as things stand he is the better player for now but Fekir is 25, imagine Pulisic when he's 25 if he continues the way he's going? if we signed either I'd be delighted but as the eds have said multiple times, we've shown no interest in Pulisic, unfortunately.

dickiedidoh, spot on mate, we didn't miss him at all. One huge positive from Coutinho leaving in my opinion is, Firmino looks so much better without Coutinho in the team, I've always rated Firmino but even more so since Coutinho left.
