Not trying to put a downer on that result, but can people remember we only have a 3 goal lead if we score 2 in Rome.
They go through next week if they win 3 nil, clearly that isn't a 3 goal lead.
Our 5-2 lead is currently the equivalent of a 2 nil lead for now.
I'd have taken that before tonight if offered it so.

Already got this wrong on another thread! If we score 2 in Rome we have 7. Roma would need 5 just to draw I. e matching last nights result.

I’m not worrying, Roma are not going to keep a clean sheet against us, they are going to have to go all out attack against us and will leave space at the back for our runners to get in behind, runners they can’t seem to handle.
It’s similar to the city game, few nervy moments but we will score, at least once, maybe twice and they won’t put more than 2 past us.
