im a big believer moreno only looks decent this season because of the shambles that's going on next to him. A keeper is the clear major issue and wasnt addressed in the summer. This was the major mistake and could cause klopp his job, i juts don't get how they thought mignolet was good enough he ain't good enough for a league two team. A keeper should organise the defence which is why we concede so many from set pieces over the last few years, were a mess we need six new players.

It's a lot more simple than that, he has been effective going forward woth some fine combination play. He doesn't deserve to be dropped.

If anything Moreno should look worse amongst this shambles but credit where it’s due, he’s upped his game and has done nothing really wrong this season. He’s been steady enough I think.

Apparently this season Moreno has 0 goals. 0 Assists and 7 completed crosses. Yes he looks better than he has in the past but that is hardly the stats of a full back who we all keep saying attacking is his strength.

{Ed025's Note - stats can be misleading jayden...hes worse than that mate.. :)

In the Champions League he has 2 assist in 3 matches, are u saying he is the best offensive fullback in CL?

Yeah I can see your point Stoupid. Unfortunately it doesn't matter what stats you look at there's no denying Moreno has still been part of the disaster that is our back 4 this season. Not as bad as Mig and Lovren but if you watch our opposition they will favour attacking down our left defensive channel. Could be a coincidence I suppose.

yeah yeah, stop hating on Moreno. He has been our best player in the backline all season.

We need defenders to support not aimless runs up the wing with no purpose or end product.

Moreno is a liability. Always has been!

It's the back line but it's also the recruitment as well. I know we barely finished 4th last season but, I still wouldn't have taken milner out of LB and I'm not sure I would have altered the front 3 or Coutinho, Firmino and Mane.

Milner was no good at LB mate, not good enough anyway. Moreno this season has improved his game, not exactly fantastic but he's improved so credit where credit is due.

Jigz are you saying you wouldn't of bought Salah? we would be 10 positions further down the table if it wasn't for him crazy talk man.

We say milner was no good at left back but we finished 4th with him there an got sum major results with him at left back, he certainly ain't long term option there but credit were it's due, everyone says clyne is crap but he also like milner helped us finish fourth an is solid, all this said we didn't have Europe to worry about last season with having it this season we being ruthlessly exposed with quality lacking an not brought in.

{Ed001's Note - and Djimi Traore won the Champions League, does that mean he wasn't crap? No of course not, it is irrelevant when judging a player. Milner was a weak link, as was Clyne. He was not the answer to the left back issue last season and had to be improved upon even to keep us in the top four, let alone to have any chance of progress.}

Traore weren't crap did u see that goal he scored overhead from 20 yards whist playing in America hahaha no he was major crap, I was just saying milner did a decent little job, ed who do u think is our best left an right back at present I and who should be starting.
